New Delhi: In a major push toward strengthening India’s maritime and defense capabilities, the Indian Navy has signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with IIT Madras, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited, and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited.
The collaboration focuses on training, technology development, and innovation in marine engineering, aligning with the government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The MoUs aim to create a strong ecosystem by bringing together defense forces, academia, and industry leaders. This collaboration will enable:

The agreements were signed by Rear Admiral Vikas Chawla, Assistant Chief of Materiel (Dockyard & Refits), along with representatives from all partner organizations.
