Indian Railways Transfers: Ms. Sunita Appointed Deputy Chief Chemist at Northern Railway, Chandra Bhushan Posted as Senior Professor at IRICEN

New Delhi: The Indian Railways has announced important transfers and postings of senior officers to enhance the efficiency and expertise across its various departments. These moves are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen operational management and research capabilities within the railway system.

Ms. Sunita Appointed Deputy Chief Chemist at Northern Railway

Ms. Sunita, who was previously serving as Director of Metallurgical and Chemical (M&C) at the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO), has been transferred to Northern Railway (NR). She has taken charge as Deputy Chief Chemist and Metallurgist (Dy. CCMT), C. Ms. Sunita is an officer of the Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS), bringing valuable expertise in metallurgical sciences to her new role.

Chandra Bhushan Joins IRICEN as Senior Professor

Chandra Bhushan, currently with South East Central Railway (SECR), has been transferred to the Indian Railway Institute of Civil Engineering (IRICEN). He will serve as Senior Professor at the institute, contributing his engineering experience to training and development efforts. Chandra Bhushan is a member of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE).

Shiva Kant Mishra Recalled and Posted as Director of Railway Stores

Shiva Kant Mishra, previously on deputation at the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), has been recalled and appointed as Director of Railway Stores (Material) at the Railway Board. An Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) officer, Mishra will oversee critical material management functions.

Prashant Rai Transferred to RDSO, Lucknow

Prashant Rai, who was serving in Northern Railway, has been transferred to the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) in Lucknow. He continues in his capacity as an Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer, focusing on research and standards development.
