Keonjhar: In a significant move to expand access to clean cooking fuel, IndianOil has collaborated with the Keonjhar District Administration to boost awareness and accelerate adoption of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). The initiative aims to achieve 100% LPG penetration in Keonjhar, a district identified for its relatively low LPG coverage.
Press Briefing to Amplify LPG Awareness
A press briefing was organized to highlight the measures being taken to promote LPG usage across the district. The event saw participation from the State Level Committee (SLC), Odisha, senior officials from IndianOil, the Chief Supply Officer of Keonjhar, and key media representatives from across the state. Officials outlined dedicated initiatives to raise awareness about the benefits of LPG, including health, environmental, and safety advantages compared to traditional cooking fuels.
