Mr. P Kavin Maharaj, a 2011-batch Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) officer, has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of VO Chidambaranar Port Authority (VoCPA), Thoothukudi, for a period of three years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 11, 2025, the competent authority has approved Mr. Maharaj’s appointment on a deputation basis for three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
As CVO, Mr. Maharaj will be responsible for overseeing vigilance administration in the port authority, ensuring transparency and accountability in its operations.
