The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has re-designated 2011-batch Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officers Rahul Yadav and Rajendra Kumar Kumhar as Directors in their respective ministries.

Mr. Rahul Yadav, currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Science & Technology, has been elevated to the Director level. His re-designation takes effect from the date of assumption of charge and will continue until March 20, 2028, completing a five-year tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme. Yadav began his central deputation on March 21, 2023.
Similarly, Mr. Rajendra Kumar Kumhar, who served as deputy secretary at the Ministry of Earth Sciences, has also been re-designated as director. His tenure will now extend until September 28, 2028, following his central deputation starting on September 29, 2023.
These re-designations reflect the competent authority’s approval to elevate their roles, recognizing their contributions and expertise in their respective ministries.
