New Delhi: Ravi Shanker Shukla, a distinguished officer of the Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) of the 2008 batch, has been repatriated to his parent cadre following his successful tenure as Director at the Ministry of Textiles.
Shukla, who joined the Ministry as Deputy Secretary in 2020, gained recognition for his exceptional administrative skills, overseeing areas like Establishment, General Administration, and Cash Management. His clear-headed approach, operational clarity, and strong leadership in streamlining administrative functions significantly improved departmental efficiency.
Although his early repatriation has come as a surprise to many, it underscores his noteworthy contributions during his time at the Ministry. Shukla has earned a reputation as a dedicated and disciplined officer, widely respected for his thoughtful policy insights and efficient execution.
As he returns to the Indian Ordnance Factory Service, Shri Shukla’s wealth of experience continues to be an asset to the Government of India, with his expertise and commitment to public service remaining invaluable in his future assignments.
