Mr. Ravish Prasad (2010-batch Indian Ordnance Factory Services), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, has been re-designated as Director. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on January 10, 2025, approving the re-designation of Prasad’s post to the Director level.
The re-designation is effective from the date of assumption of charge of the newly designated post and will remain valid until June 19, 2027, marking a total tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Notably, Ravish Prasad commenced his central deputation tenure on June 20, 2022. This elevation recognizes his contributions and aligns with the Ministry’s objective of enhancing administrative leadership in key roles.
