Vandita Kaul, a 1989-batch Indian Postal Service (IPoS) officer presently serving as Member (Banking & Direct Benefit Transfer) of Postal Services, has been appointed as the Secretary of Department of Posts. The appointment was finalized after the approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Friday. Ms. Kaul has got this appointment after superannuation of Vineet Pandey (IPoS) from the post.
The order for the appointment was issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on April 12.
