IPS A Vijaya Lakshmi & 2 Other Senior Officers From Jharkhand Are Empaneled In the IG Rank At Centre

In a significant move, three IPS officers from the 2006 batch of the Jharkhand cadre have been empanelled for the rank of Inspector General (IG) at the Centre. This decision comes as part of the Cabinet Appointments Committee’s consideration for the empanelment of IPS officers for IG and equivalent posts nationwide.

2. Ms. A Vijaya Lakshmi, IPS – IG Training
3. Mr. Anoop T Mathew, IPS – Currently serving on central deputation

71 IPS Officers Empanelled Nationwide for IG Rank:

In total, 71 IPS officers from various states across the country have been empanelled for the IG rank. The move reflects the recognition of the officers’ exceptional service and leadership qualities in their respective roles.
