As many as 18 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from various cadres and batches are set to retire in January 2025. The list includes senior officers from different states who have contributed significantly to law enforcement and public service.
The officers retiring are:
- Mr. D Tirumala Rao (Andhra Pradesh cadre)
- Mr. Sunil Kumar (Bihar cadre)
- Mr. H R Chaudhry (Gujarat cadre)
- Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Mr. Raj Kumar Mallick, and Mr. Rajkumar Lakra (Jharkhand cadre)
- Mr. Sudhir Kumar Sahi (Madhya Pradesh cadre)
- Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh (Odisha cadre)
- Mr. Prabodh Kumar and Mr. Ranjit Singh (Punjab cadre)
- Mr. Subrata Chakraborty (Tripura cadre)
- Mr. Avinash Chandra, Mr. Bhajani Ram Meena, Mr. Dharm Veer Singh, Mr. Ramabhilash Tripathi, Mr. Shashi Kant, Mr. Lal Sahab Yadav, and Mr. Bhim Priya Ashok (Uttar Pradesh cadre)
These officers have played pivotal roles in maintaining law and order, crime prevention, and policy implementation throughout their careers. Their retirement marks the end of an era of dedicated service in their respective cadres.
