Bihar: Promotions Rain On Police Officers – 21 Promoted on DIG & IG Rank, 10 BPS Officers Promoted to IPS. Check Their Names Here

The Nitish Kumar led Bihar government has promoted 21 IPS officers, of different batches, on DIG, IG and other ranks.

A total of 11 officers from 2010 batch have been promoted to the post of DIG. Apart from this, 7 IPS officers of 2011 batch have been promoted, which also includes Gaya SSP. These officers will get the benefit of promotion from January 1, 2024.

Patna SSP and 2010 batch IPS officer Rajiv Mishra and Gaya SSP Ashish Bharti have been promoted to DIG rank. IPS Shivdeep Lande, Garima Malik and S Premalatha have been promoted to the post of IG. A separate notification in this regard was issued by the Home Department on 23rd Dec 2023.

The name of the officers promoted on DIG rank, given below-

Meenu Kumari, Rajiv Mishra, Deepak Varnwal, Nilesh Kumar, Mrityunjay Kumar Chaudhary, Tauheed Parvez, Abhay Kumar Lal, Rashid Zaman, Anil Kumar, Arvind Kumar Gupta, Pramod Kumar Mandal, Dhurat Sayli Savalaram, Har Kishore Rai, Ashish Bharti, Satya Prakash. , Rakesh Kumar, Rajendra Kumar Bhil and Swapna Meshram.

Apart from this, 10 officers of Bihar Police Service have also been promoted to IPS cadre.
