The central government has approved a two-year extension for Mr. Vipul Aggarwal (IPS) as Principal Commissioner of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). His deputation, which was set to expire on March 15, 2025, will now continue until March 2027.
A 2001-batch Gujarat cadre IPS officer, Mr. Aggarwal has been serving in this key urban development role, overseeing critical projects in the national capital. The extension, cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), ensures continuity in DDA’s leadership amid ongoing infrastructure and housing initiatives.
This marks Mr. Aggarwal’s second extension in the position, reflecting the government’s confidence in his administrative capabilities.
