2005 batch IPS officer, Mr. Rahul Bhagat, has been appointed as the Secretary to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. He was earlier posted as Inspector General (IG) in the newly formed Rajnandgaon Police Range.
This marks a significant development as he becomes the third secretary to the Chief Minister and the first IPS officer to assume this role in the state. He previously served as the Private Secretary during Mr. Sai’s ministerial tenure at the Centre.
After Mr. Vishnudev Sai resigned from the ministerial post, Mr. Bhagat assumed the role of Director in the Labour Department.
