2000 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, D. Roopa Moudgil, addressed a batch of civil servant aspirants on Tuesday, 8th December, 2020 and guided them through their anxiety by uplifting their spirits and giving them some meaningful advices about the examinations.
The webinar she was addressing was titled as ‘Train the Brain to be a Civil Servant’, which was jointly organized by The Hindu and Gnyana Sudha Civil Services Academy – an initiative of Gnyana Sudha Vidyalaya, Bidar.
In her webinar, she advised the aspirants to keep away as it causes major distraction. At the same time, she advised them to give a whole year to preparation in order to succeed. She dismissed the belief of subjective studies and advised to objectively study the entire syllabus, while stressing on the importance of patience and hard work.
Later on, she answered their questions giving examples from her own experience. Swamy Jyotirmayananda, head of Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram, Bidar; Poornima George, President of GSV Group of Institutions; and Muneshwara Lakha, Director of Gnyana Sudha Vidyalaya, Bidar spoke on the occasion. S.D.T. Rao, Regional Head of The Hindu Group for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, welcomed the participants and introduced the speakers.
