1991 batch IPS officer of Bihar cadre, Mr. Praveen Vashista’s central deputation has been extended for one year.
He is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Saturday (13.01.2024) stating that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of Mr. Vashista’s deputation tenure until January 14, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
