The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has recently appointed three IPS officers as Assistant Directors in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Hyderabad for a five-year term. Of these IPS officers — two are from the Telangana cadre, and one is from the Kerala cadre.
These IPS officers are:
- Mr. Kamleshwar Shingenavar, a 2012-batch Telangana cadre IPS officer, earlier served as the Crimes Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Cyberabad.
- Ms. Rohini Priyadarshini, a 2012-batch Telangana cadre IPS officer, earlier served as the DCP (North Zone) of Hyderabad City.
- Mr. Arvind Sukumar, a 2016-batch Kerala cadre IPS officer, earlier served as the Wayanad police chief.
They all have been appointed on usual terms and conditions of deputation for five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
