2011 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr. Vinod Kumar, has been transferred and posted as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu in Jammu and Kashmir.
He was serving as SSP, Udhampur. He replaces Chandan Kohli, an IPS officer of 2013 batch, who has been appointed as deputy secretary in the cabinet secretariat on deputation basis.
While, IPS officer Joginder Singh is posted as SSP Udhampur. He was director, special security force (J&K). IPS Swarn Singh Kotwal, commandant SDRF 1-battalion Srinagar, was transferred and posted as director, special security force, J&K, in place of Mr. Singh.
