In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle in Karnataka, 2008 batch IPS officer M B Boralingaiah, Deputy Inspector Genral of Police has been transferred from the Southern Range to the Western range in Mysuru.
He is an officer of the 2008 batch and a native of Mandya district. He served as the DIG of the southern range for over seven months. Now, he has been posted in the western range, Mysuru, in place of DIG Amit Singh, who has been posted in the southern range.
