The two officers are IPS Sonal Chandra (2008-batch) and IPS Murali Rambha (2011-batch)

Amidst a recent development, Ms. Sonal Chandra (2008-batch IPS officer), incumbent DIG in CBI, and Mr. Murali Rambha (2011-batch IPS officer), presently posted as SP in CBI, were given an extension of tenure for one year from 1st July 2024 to June 30th, 2025.
