Ms Nilabja Chaudhary, an IPS officer of 2000 batch, has been made the new IGP of ATS
In yet another bureaucratic reshuffle in Police Department in Uttar Pradesh before implementation of the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Yogi Adityanath led state government has transferred and posted 3 senior IPS officers.
The Police Commissioner of Varanasi, the Prime Minister’s parliamentary constituency in UP, has been removed.
1995 batch IPS officer Mutha Ashok Jain has been posted as Additional DGP, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Lucknow. he was serving as Police Commissioner, Police Commissionerate Varanasi.
1997 batch IPS officer Mohit Agarwal will be the new Police Commissioner of Varanasi. He was till now holding the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police in UP ATS.
While Ms Nilabja Chaudhary, an IPS officer of 2000 batch, has been made the new Inspector General of Police, ATS.
