After awaiting a posting order since March 27, 2025, Mr. Khurana is now expected to receive a key assignment in Delhi Police. With previous experience as Special CP Central Zone and Special CP Intelligence in Delhi, he is well-versed in managing complex law and order situations. He has a residual service tenure until September 2029.
This development comes as Delhi Police Commissioner Mr. Sanjay Arora (1988-batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre) is set to retire on July 31, 2025, potentially paving the way for a reshuffle at senior levels in the Delhi Police hierarchy.
