The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has extended the deputation tenure of Ms. Rani Bindu Sachdeva, a 2006-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IPS officer, as DIG/Director, Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), for one year. According to an order issued on December 9th, the extension is effective beyond February 7th, 2025, marking her seventh year, with the relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy.
