The Chhattisgarh government has initiated a major reshuffle in the police department, transferring 20 IPS officers, including several Superintendents of Police (SPs) and Inspectors General (IGs). The General Administration Department issued the official transfer order on Friday evening, impacting nine districts and two police ranges.
As part of this large-scale move, the Home Department has also reassigned IGs in the Surguja and Rajnandgaon police ranges, indicating a strategic shift in law enforcement leadership across the state.
