New Delhi: In a strategic move to strengthen its senior management team, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) has appointed Mr. Vikram Yadav as Group General Manager (Procurement and Tendering), effective February 2, 2026. The appointment was disclosed to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India under SEBI regulations.
Senior Management Change at IRCTC
The appointment of Mr. Vikram Yadav comes as part of IRCTC’s ongoing efforts to enhance its procurement and tendering functions. He will serve at a level one below the Board and join the corporation on standard deputation terms.
IRCTC stated that the intimation has been submitted for regulatory compliance and record purposes.

Professional Background of Mr. Vikram Yadav
Mr. Vikram Yadav is a distinguished officer from the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), 1998 batch. Before joining IRCTC, he was serving as Chief Electrical Service Engineer (CESE) at Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW).
With over 25 years of experience in Indian Railways, Mr. Yadav brings extensive expertise in railway operations, administration, and project management. His experience is expected to enhance IRCTC’s efficiency in procurement, tendering, and overall operational management.

In his new role, Mr. Yadav will oversee all procurement and tendering activities for IRCTC, ensuring transparent, timely, and efficient processes. The appointment aims to strengthen governance and strategic management in line with IRCTC’s growth objectives.
