Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Amar Singh has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Union Minister Bhupender Yadav in the Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Climate Change.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Amar Singh will serve as Private Secretary at the level of Director from the date of taking over the post until September 7, 2026, for the remaining period of his five-year tenure, or on a co-terminus basis, or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier.
Amar Singh, an IRS officer of the 2010 batch, previously served as Private Secretary to Union Minister Bhupender Yadav in the Ministry of Labour & Employment.
