New Delhi: In a recent order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), significant appointments and repatriations have been made in the central bureaucracy.
Kumar Asim Anand Appointed Joint Director, CEIB
Kumar Asim Anand, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes), 2015 batch, currently posted as Joint Commissioner in the Bengaluru Customs Zone, has been appointed as Joint Director in the Central Economic Intelligence Bureau (CEIB). The role is equivalent to a Deputy Secretary-level position in the Department of Revenue.
His appointment is on a central deputation basis for a period of four years, marking a key transition in his career into the economic intelligence domain.
Pravir Pandey Repatriated to Avail Promotion
In another significant move, Pravir Pandey, a 1992-batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), has been repatriated to his parent cadre. Pandey was serving as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
The repatriation, approved by the competent authority, has been executed to enable him to avail the benefit of promotion in his parent cadre.
