In a pioneering move, the government of India has appointed a young trailblazing IRS officer as the Brand Ambassador for the government’s flagship “Fit India movement.” Officer Narendra Kumar Yadav (IRS), who cracked UPSC Civil Services exam in 2009 at the age of just 22, that too in his first attempt, has a reputation for his bona fide passion, commitment, and unswerving dedication toward public services that gets reflected through his inspirational speeches and exuberant persona.
In addition to his prestigious IRS label, he is also a certified fitness trainer and nutritionist, leveraging upon which he conducts fitness talks and workshops with the sublime aim of reaching out to marginalized communities and underprivileged people and elucidating them with the importance of good diet and exercise. Apart from serving ardently as a bureaucrat, he also makes time to influence his substantial social media following with invaluable guidance regarding health, nutrition, and fitness.
