Ms. Maimun Alam (2007-batch IRS officer) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Steel, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. Her selection follows a recommendation by the Department of Revenue for Central deputation.
As per an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), she will serve in this role for a five-year tenure from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She has been directed to relieve her current duties immediately to take up her new assignment.
With a distinguished career in tax administration and policy formulation, Ms. Alam’s expertise is expected to strengthen the Ministry of Steel’s strategic initiatives in policy planning and execution.
