IRS Prashant Kumar Jha has recently been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the Director level to Union Minister of State (I/C) for M/o Science and Technology and M/o Earth Sciences; Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office, M/o Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, D/o Atomic Energy and D/o Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh. Officer Jha’s appointment especially pertains to M/o Science and Technology
Mr. Prashant Kumar Jha, a 2008-batch IRS (Customs & Central Excise) officer shall occupy the post for the period up to 31st March 2025, on a co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
