Ms. Sowmya Nuthalapati, a 2011-batch IRS (C&IT) officer, has been appointed as Additional Commissioner in the State Taxes (GST) Department of the Andhra Pradesh government on deputation basis for a period of three years.
Her appointment marks a key administrative move aimed at strengthening the GST framework in the state.
