Mr. Vatsalya Saxena (1994-batch IRS-IT officer) has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
His appointment to this key position is expected to further strengthen KVIC’s role in promoting rural employment, sustainable industries, and traditional handicrafts across India. KVIC, a statutory body under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), plays a crucial role in supporting small-scale industries and artisans.
With Mr. Saxena’s vast experience in administration and finance, his leadership is anticipated to enhance KVIC’s efforts in boosting rural entrepreneurship and self-reliance in alignment with government initiatives.
