1990 batch IRS-IT officer Ravinder Saroop has been granted a two-year extension in his foreign
assignment.
He is currently serving as the Revenue Administration Advisor at SARTTAC-IMF (South Asia Regional Training & Technical Assistance Centre of the International Monetary Fund) in New Delhi.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Tuesday.
The order confirms that the competent authority has approved the Department of Revenue’s proposal to extend Mr. Saroop’s foreign tenure for an additional two years.
