Mr. Jivan Kautikrao Bachhav, a 2011-batch IRS-IT officer, has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Mr. Prataprao Jhadav, the Minister of State for AYUSH. This new appointment is part of the ongoing administrative restructuring to support the Ministry’s functions.
The Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy) is responsible for promoting traditional systems of medicine in India. It aims to ensure the integration of these systems into the national healthcare framework, fostering holistic health and wellness.
