Mr. Uday Singh Mina, a 1994-batch IRSME officer currently serving with Northern Railway, has been transferred and posted as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Division, East Central Railway. He takes over from Mr. Rajesh Gupta, an IRSSE officer.

A seasoned officer with a distinguished career in Indian Railways, Mr. Mina has demonstrated technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to modernization. Before assuming his new role, he served as the Chief Mechanical Engineer (CME) at Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, where he played a crucial role in overseeing railway coach production and maintenance, significantly contributing to the modernization of rolling stock.
In addition to his technical acumen, Mr. Mina has honed his managerial and administrative skills by pursuing further studies at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. His expertise in leadership and strategic planning has been instrumental in his career, enabling him to implement progressive reforms within Indian Railways.
As DRM, Mr. Mina is expected to bring innovative reforms, enhance operational efficiency, and improve passenger services, making a lasting impact on the railway division. The Deen Dayal Upadhyay railway division, formerly known as Mughalsarai railway division, is one of the five divisions under the East Central Railway (ECR) zone, headquartered in Mughalsarai, Uttar Pradesh.
