New Delhi: 2012 batch ISS (Indian Statistical Service) officer Birendra Kumar Mishra has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying.
The appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, as per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday. Mishra will serve at Level 13 of the Pay Matrix.
His tenure will run until March 31, 2028 – the date of his superannuation – or will be co-terminus with the tenure of the Minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
