A delegation of IAS Officer Trainees from the 2024 batch visited Lieutenant Governor Mr. Manoj Sinha at the Raj Bhawan as part of their Winter Study Tour. The Lieutenant Governor extended his best wishes to the trainees and encouraged them to serve the nation with sensitivity, honesty, and dedication.

Addressing the Officer Trainees, Mr. Sinha emphasized the pivotal role of civil servants in the administration, describing them as the backbone of governance. “Uphold the values of integrity and merit in the nation-building process. Your focus should be on inclusive, people-centric development, ensuring that the benefits of governance reach the last man in the queue,” he advised.

The Lieutenant Governor also stressed the importance of professional and personal conduct, urging the officers to embody the core values and high morals of the Indian Administrative Service.

The Officer Trainees shared insights from their visit to Jammu and Kashmir, which was part of their Winter Study Tour program, providing them with valuable exposure to the region’s administrative and developmental framework.
