Ranchi: On the occasion of the New Year, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met with administrative and police officials to extend greetings and share his vision for the state’s holistic development in 2026. The meeting, held on Tuesday in Ranchi, emphasized collective effort, commitment, and positive energy to drive forward the state’s progress.
CM Extends New Year Greetings and Encourages Commitment to Development
During the meeting, Chief Minister Soren warmly welcomed the officials and expressed gratitude for their New Year wishes. Addressing the gathering, he said, “The New Year brings new resolutions, renewed energy, and fresh opportunities. In 2026, we are determined to contribute with commitment and positivity towards the comprehensive development of Jharkhand.” He highlighted that this year is poised to be a milestone in Jharkhand’s development journey, aiming to position the state among the leading states in India with the combined support of government, administration, and citizens.

Focus on Delivering Government Schemes to Every Citizen
CM Soren urged officials to work collectively to ensure that the government’s development schemes reach every resident of the state. He also extended his personal wishes for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of all Jharkhand citizens in the New Year.

Administrative officials present included Amarendra Pratap Singh, Chairman of the State Finance Commission; Ananya Mittal, CEO of JSLPS; Preeti Rani, Additional Secretary, Industries; Dhananjay Singh, Additional Secretary, Finance; Sita Pushpa, Additional Secretary, School Education & Literacy; Vijay Kumar Singh, Director, Social Security; Karn Satyarthi, District Collector, East Singhbhum; Nitish Kumar Singh, District Collector, Saraikela-Kharsawan; and Rituraaj, District Collector, Koderma.
Among police officials, DG Home Guard MS Bhatia, DIG Dumka Amar Lakra, SP Lohardaga Sadiq Anwar Rizvi, SP Saraikela-Kharsawan Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, SP Godda Mukesh Kumar, SP Gumla Harish Bin Jamaan, SP Khunti Manish Toppo, and SP Training Center Musabani Vijay Ashish Kujur were present, along with other senior officers.
