Jharkhand Govt Tool Room Partners with FJCCI to Boost Skill Development and Create Industry-Ready Workforce

Ranchi: In a major initiative to strengthen skill development and industrial growth in Jharkhand, the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jharkhand Government Tool Room (JGTR). This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between technical education and industry requirements, providing meaningful opportunities for students while enhancing industrial productivity.

Linking Technical Education with Industry Needs

The MoU is designed to connect classroom learning with practical industrial experience, ensuring that students gain skills aligned with current industry standards. By integrating academic knowledge with hands-on training, the initiative seeks to prepare a future-ready workforce for Jharkhand.

Through this collaboration, both FJCCI and JGTR will work on:

  • Skill-gap analysis to identify areas of improvement in technical education
  • Development of industry-oriented training modules
  • Promotion of sustainable industrial practices
  • Advancement of vocational training programs

Speaking at the signing event, FJCCI President Aditya Malhotra emphasized that the MoU represents a significant step in strengthening Jharkhand’s industrial and skill development ecosystem. “Through this partnership, we aim to create industry-ready manpower while generating new employment opportunities for youth. FJCCI is fully committed to developing a future-ready workforce for the state,” he said.

Sub-committee Chairpersons Alok Kumar and Priyank Bhagat added that the collaboration will contribute to job creation, productivity enhancement, and overall industrial growth in Jharkhand.
