New Delhi: The Government of India has inducted 15 State Civil Service (SCS) officers from Jharkhand into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). This induction has been carried out to fill vacancies in the IAS and follows the provisions of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, in conjunction with Regulation 9(1) of the IAS (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955 and Rule 3 of the IAS (Probation) Rules, 1954.
The induction recognizes these officers for their consistent performance and experience in Jharkhand’s administrative services, marking a significant milestone in their careers.
