New Delhi: The Government of India issued important notifications regarding appointments and tenure extensions on Wednesday. Pallavi Singh (IRPS: 2008), currently serving as Director in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), has received a two-year extension of her central deputation, effective from April 12, 2026, to April 11, 2028.

In a separate development, Prashant Kumar Mishra (IAS: 2014, Karnataka cadre) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister for Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil, at the level of Deputy Secretary for a four-year tenurein the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation.
