In a notification issued by the Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department, the government has ordered 1993 batch IAS officer Dheeraj Gupta of AGMUT cadre, who is the Principal Secretary, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, to function as Chairman of BOPEE.
