The Jammu and Kashmir Police has mandated IPS Vivek Gupta to take the additional charge of the post of IGP Traffic in addition to his incumbent charge as the IG Railways, Jammu and Kashmir. Mr. Vivek Gupta is a 2007-batch IPS officer.
The order by the General Administration Department (GAD) read, “Shri Vivek Gupta, IG Railways, JK in addition to his own duties shall also attend to the duties of IG Traffic, JK till Shri M. Suleman Choudhary, IG Traffic, JK rejoins after performing his duties as Election Observer.”
