Jaipur: The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) Heritage swiftly rescinded its recent transfer orders for three deputy commissioners, just 24 hours after their issuance. The abrupt reversal has raised questions about the decision-making process within the civic body.
Background
On June 18, Municipal Commissioner Arun Kumar Hasija, a RAS officer, announced the transfer of Deputy Commissioners Yugantar Sharma, Seema Chaudhary, and Tanuja Solanki.
Mr Sharma was reassigned from Adarsh Nagar zone to the personnel department, Ms Chaudhary was moved from Kacchi Basti to Adarsh Nagar, and Ms Solanki was transferred from the personnel department to Kacchi Basti. However, on June 19, Hasija issued a suspension of these orders, citing the ongoing delimitation work in municipal wards overseen by Sharma in Adarsh Nagar.
