Karnataka: After IAS Rohini Sindhuri, IPS D Roopa Gets New Posting

In a minor reshuffle, the Karnataka government issued transfer and posting orders for three IPS officers who had been awaiting posting and were not assigned any specific roles. The list also include IPS officer D Roopa who moved from her previous assignment as MD, KHDC, following a public altercation between her and IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri.

An IPS of 2000 batch and Karnataka cadre, Ms. Roopa has been posted as, IGP, Internal Security Division. While, Kuldeep Kumar Jain has been posted as DCP, Traffic, East Division, Bengaluru and Shiva Prakash Devaraju has been posted as DCP, Traffic, South Division, Bengaluru. Mr. Jain and Mr. Devaraju are IPS officers of 2011 batch and 2014 batch respectively.

Seven IAS Including Rohini Sindhuri got posted

On the other hand, seven IAS officers including Ms. Rohini Sindhuri have been given new assignments. After seven months of absence, IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri of 2009 batch has been appointed as the Chief Editor of the Karnataka Gazetteer Department.

Besides her, IAS officer Pradeep P has been posted as Director (Social Audit), Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Bengaluru. IAS officer of 2012 batch Mr. Suralkar Vikas Kishor has been transferred and posted as Zonal Commissioner (Rajarajeshwari Nagar), Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palika, Bengaluru. He was currently serving as Secretary, Karnataka Public Service Commission, Bengaluru,

Latha Kumari KS has been posted as Secretary, Karnataka Public Service Commission, Bengaluru.

CN Sreedhara has been posted as Commissioner for Textile Development and Director of Handlooms and Textiles, Bengaluru. Whereas Sangappa has been posted as Managing Director, Karnataka State Electronics and Development Corporation Limited (KEONICS), Bengaluru.

Shreeroopa has been transferred and posted as Executive Director, Karnataka State Mineral Corporation Limited, Bengaluru. Mr. Shreeroopa is an IAS officer of 2018 batch, currently serving as Director, Karnataka State Sericulture Research Development Institute Bengaluru.
