Bengaluru: In a fresh round of administrative reshuffle, the Karnataka government has issued transfer and posting orders for three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, bringing changes to key departments in Bengaluru, particularly in the domains of e-Governance and Commercial Taxes.

The Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) released the official notification on Tuesday, outlining the changes in responsibilities and leadership.

Bhoobalan T Gets Additional Charge of EDCS

Bhoobalan T (IAS: 2015: KN), currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for E-Governance, Bengaluru, has been assigned additional concurrent charge as Director of the Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services (EDCS) in the DPAR (e-Governance).

He takes over from Aparna Ramesh, who has been transferred to the Commercial Taxes Department. Bhoobalan’s expanded responsibilities signify the government’s focus on strengthening the digital public service delivery framework.
