Varanasi: Visitors from South India attending the Kashi Tamil Sangamam-4 in Varanasi have lauded the development initiatives and governance reforms implemented in Uttar Pradesh. The event, organized on the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has become a platform for cultural exchange and showcasing the progress of the state.
Guests Appreciate Development and Administrative Efficiency
The South Indian delegation, which visited Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya, expressed admiration for the visible improvements in infrastructure, law and order, and administrative management in Uttar Pradesh. Guests noted that the state has undergone significant positive changes in recent years, giving the Yogi Adityanath-led government a perfect 10 out of 10 rating for its performance.
PM Modi’s Vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” Highlighted
Participants observed that the Sangamam reflects Prime Minister Modi’s vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, fostering stronger cultural and intellectual ties between Tamil Nadu and Kashi. The two-week program, which began on December 2, serves as a bridge connecting North and South Indian heritage.
Diverse Participation from Tamil Nadu
The event has drawn more than 1,400 participants from Tamil Nadu, representing seven categories: students, teachers, writers, media representatives, professionals and craftspeople, women, and spiritual scholars. The visitors collectively praised the Yogi government’s efforts, emphasizing Uttar Pradesh’s progress in development, governance, and law and order.

The Kashi Tamil Sangamam has not only strengthened cultural bonds but also provided a platform for showcasing the state’s development milestones.
