IAS officer Kavitha Padmanabhan (Assam-Meghalaya cadre, 2006 batch), who is currently serving as Commissioner & Secretary, Housing & Urban Affairs Department, Assam, has been relieved of her additional responsibility as Commissioner & Secretary of the Environment & Forest Department. She continues to hold her other roles as Member of the State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Posts and Resident Commissioner at Assam Bhawan, New Delhi.
