The Kerala government has announced a significant reshuffle among its IPS officers. S Sreejith, previously the Transport Commissioner, has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) at Police Headquarters. A Akbar, who was serving as Ernakulam Crime Branch IG, will take over as the new Transport Commissioner. Other notable changes include Yogesh Gupta being named the Vigilance Director, and Harshita Attalluri appointed as the Managing Director of the Beverages Corporation (Bevco).
DGP Sheikh Darvesh Sahib has been given the additional charge of Chairman of Kerala Police Housing Corporation whereas DIG J Jayanth has been taken charge of MD, KPHC. The former CMD of Kerala Police Housing Corporation Mr. C Nagarajalu has been appointed as the IG of Thiruvananthapuram Crime Branch. S Ajitha Begum has posted as DIG of Thiruvananthapuram Crime Brancha and Thomson Jose have been given additional charge of DIG, Thrissur Range.
