New Delhi: New Delhi The Centre on Saturday issued fresh appointment and empanelment notifications, under which Laya Madduri, a 2010-batch IAS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has been empanelled for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Government of India.
The empanelment marks an important milestone in her administrative career and places her among officers eligible for senior policy-level responsibilities in the central government.
Currently Serving in Department of Economic Affairs
Laya Madduri is currently serving as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Ministry of Finance.
She was appointed to this role in 2025 and is presently handling important responsibilities linked to economic policy and financial administration at the Centre.
