Lucknow, UP: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Lucknow Police Commissionerate has transferred five IPS officers serving as Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) to strengthen policing, traffic management, cyber security and law-and-order operations across the city.
The transfer orders, issued on Saturday, aim to improve operational efficiency by deploying officers to key wings, including Traffic, Cantt, Cyber/UP-112, Ghazipur and Malihabad.

The reshuffle is part of the Lucknow Police Commissionerate’s ongoing efforts to enhance traffic regulation, strengthen cybercrime response, improve emergency services under UP-112, and further streamline policing in sensitive and high-priority zones.
The newly posted officers are expected to assume charge immediately.
